Solitaire on iPads! *Face Plant*
You’ve got to be kidding me. You spent over $200 on a smartphone or a tablet to play Solitaire! Don’t get me wrong Solitaire is an awesome game when it came out in 1990 on Windows 3.0. It’s 2012 folks, time to raise the stakes. Embrace technology and it will make your life easier and interesting. I ride the train for a total of 2 hours daily. I see iPads, iPhones, Android Tablets, HP Touchpads, and all the smartphones being used for various personal and business use. But man does my blood boil when I see solitaire on their high end machines; they just don’t deserve them. These portable touchscreen devices are meant to be application running machines.

Netflix got it right. Their marketing was terrible in 2011, probably due to some over cockiness. I’m in a very delicate process of letting go some of my treasured dvd’s. I guess when new technology comes in you gotta replace the old with the new (VHS to DVD to Blu-Ray). A lot of my dvd’s were bought before I got married so I’d like think I worked hard to buy them full price on new Tuesday release day. I’m not gonna cry but it’s very hard letting them go.
